At ACAE, we strongly believe every single species on this earth deserves love, care, and respect. And, every day, we strive to live up to this belief to ensure that no living being should face neglect or abuse.
Recently, one of our volunteers at ACAE Delhi came across a heart-wrenching situation. During a random visit to one of his friends, our volunteer saw that a little guinea pig was about to be abandoned by his parents. The child was affected by cancer, and rather than showing him love and care, they decided to let him suffer alone.
Not wasting even a moment, our team got into action immediately. The child was taken to a little animals’ specialist at a private veterinary clinic in Delhi. The doctor confirmed that the child was affected by a cancerous tumor in his chest, and unfortunately, surgery was the only option to try and save him. The case was a bit critical, and chances of survival were very slim.
But our team did not want to give up. They remained positive and decided to go ahead with the surgery. And, thanks to all the positivity, the surgery was successful.
We are happy to report that the child is now recovering well with the right medication and support. In fact, one of our members is personally taking care of the child.
Experiences such as this constantly remind us of the difference we are able to make in these precious lives. It further underscores our commitment to ensure that every life, big or small, deserves all the love and care.
